Mr. Blue

There is such a wealth in this ongoing project, brought to us by David Lynch.

Check out the latest interview of Mr. Blue:

"I haven't made any enemies. I haven't made a lot of friends. Haven't set the world on fire, but by the same token I haven't spoiled anybody's fun. So, I'm satisfied with my life."

Witch Cults of the Radio Age

I am a big fan of Broadcast. Can't wait 'til they hit the Great American Music Hall on 11/3.

Nudge

inudge.net has a pretty cool little tone matrix tool/widget. I'm just scratching the surface right now, but you'll quickly get the idea. Take what I started above and make it your own.

As they say: Everyone can create music.

Somebody's Vip

Here's the result of some late night experiments with MixCloud.com. The site and widget are pretty cool. If I were a DJ, I'd use this all the time.

Happy listening.

This is such a damn fine little collection of tunes from a talented crew in West Oakland, CA.

Give it a spin!

Blinks

I've been working on a visual version of Autopilot lately, which is run manually through a series of semi-coordinated muscle movements in a very old school way:

1) Grab an Oblique Strategy or any desired quote/words printed on a card.
2) Place it over any desired image/thing.
3) Take a snapshot.

It wouldn't be difficult to automate this programatically, as was done with Autopilot, but the process itself is enjoyable.

It's like gardening. Or taking a stroll.

For now, they're called Blinks.

If you don't already own a set of Oblique Strategy cards, you should:

It's one £30 investment you won't regret.
