Well

Another session chopping up bits of my Dad's Jazz piano recordings and feeding them into the machine...

Tonight's session drew from two impromptu recording I had him do on a TASCAM 388 (1/4" 8-Track) about 10 years ago for a soundtrack to an 8-MM film my friend Mike made called WellBeing.

That title is a good tie in to the various ideas at play here:

Memory --> Damage --> Reconstruction --> Interpretation --> Expression

And I just make music, so back to that: I fed the bits through Audio Damage's Automaton and Ricochet, and spiced it with some verb.

It sounds like Pole.

And it's mostly slowed down, process piano. That pleases me greatly.
